Hi Folks,

We're sailing again this Friday, 2nd August, after that we come together again on the 16th August. As you read this I'm on holiday in the New Forest with my family and Friday is also my daughters 10th birthday so I won't be joining you this time, but Barry will be standing in on my behalf.

Thank you to those that took the time to fill out my survey last time round - it was good to get some feedback from the wider team. We've started making a few changes taking into account your views but it's going to take a while to implement fully, especially over the summer period where we typically are short of helpers and operate with a skeleton crew, rest assured though - changes are afoot!

One item that did come up were procedures and practices - and yes, we absolutely have that and it's very timely given recent incidents (away from PSC). So, I present to you, our 'Standard Operating Procedures' - this is largely something I've inherited and made changes to over the years but it is definitely something you all should read

Once you've read it, I'd appreciate if you could let me know by visiting Record you've read the document and filling the form out.

Anyway, I won't take anymore of your time, let me end by saying that I, Papercourt Sailing Club and our sailors appreciate all the time and effort that you give to make Sailability happen - without you, Sailability couldn't happen. Thank you!

Regards,
John.
