Eastbound I-10 closures bring new detours 

on Tuesday, Wednesday nights 

Nightly closures in place Sunday through Thursday on SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) at US 54 

Sunday, July 28, Monday, July 29 and Thursday, August 1 
9pm to 5am 

• Ramp F which connects westbound I-10 to Juárez will close to all traffic. 

• DETOUR: Take Exit 22B (US 54/Alamogordo/Juárez/Fort Bliss) to northbound US 54, take Exit 23 (Cassidy Road/Fort Bliss), take Exit 22B (Pershing Drive), use the turnaround to re-enter southbound US 54 and follow signs to Juárez. 

• Ramp G which connects eastbound I-10 to Juárez will close to all traffic. 

• DETOUR: Take Exit 22B (US 54/Alamogordo/Juárez/Fort Bliss) to northbound US 54, take Exit 22B (Pershing Drive),  use the turnaround to re-enter southbound US 54 and follow signs to Juárez . 

• Gateway Boulevard East will be intermittently closed to all traffic at Lincoln Cente

Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31 
9pm to 5am 

• Eastbound I-10 will close to all traffic at US 54. 

• EASTBOUND I-10 DETOUR: All traffic must take Exit 22A (Loop 478/Copia Street), continue on Gateway Boulevard East and re-enter I-10 at Raynolds Street. 

• NORTHBOUND US 54 DETOUR: After re-entering I-10, take Exit 24A (Trowbridge Drive), utilize the newly widened turnaround to enter westbound I-10, then take Exit 22B (US 54/Alamogordo/Juárez/Fort Bliss). 

• CIUDAD JUÁREZ DETOUR: Remain on Gateway Boulevard East, turn right on westbound US 62 (Paisano Drive) and continue to the Bridge of the Americas. 

• The left lane of westbound I-10 will be closed at US 54. 

Crews will be working on a column. 

Sunday, July 28, 9pm to 5am 

• Eastbound US 62 (Paisano Drive) will be closed to all traffic between Gateway Boulevard North and Gateway Boulevard South.  

• DETOUR: Turn right on San Marcial Street, left on Delta Drive, and left on Boone Street before returning to US 62 (Paisano Drive).  

Crews will be working on the bridge deck. 

Sunday, July 28, through Thursday, August 1 
Nightly 9pm to 5am 

• SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) will be closed to all traffic at US 54. 

• DETOURS: Eastbound traffic will turn left on Loop 478 (Copia Street), right on Gateway Boulevard East, and left on Raynolds Street. Westbound traffic will use westbound US 62 (Paisano Drive) and turn right on Loop 478 (Copia Street). 

• NOTE: Alameda will remain open to local traffic only except for the area immediately under US 54. 

Crews will be preparing parts of an existing ramp for demolition.

Monday, July 29, through Wednesday, July 31 
9am to 4pm 

• On-ramp from Gateway Boulevard North to I-110 near the El Paso Zoo will be closed to all traffic. 

• DETOUR: Gateway Boulevard North, turn right on SH 20 (Alameda Avenue), turn left on Raynolds Street, and access eastbound and westbound I-10 at Raynolds. 

Crews will be working on the bridge deck. 

About the I-10 Connect Project

The I-10 Connect project is at the intersection of Interstate 10 and US 54 in El Paso County. The project extends from I-10 to Loop 375 (Cesar Chávez Border Highway) and provides access to the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) via I-110. The $96 million project includes the construction of four new direct connectors, a full reconstruction of the I-110/US 62 (Paisano Drive) interchange, and removes exit ramps from US 62 to I-110.

I-10 Connect will improve connectivity between I-10 and Loop 375, also providing an alternate route to I-10. It started February 19, 2019, and is expected to be complete in less than three years.

Domingo 28 de julio, lunes 29 de julio, y jueves 1 de agosto 

9pm a 5am

• La Rampa F que conecta I-10 Oeste hacia Cd. Juárez estará cerrada al tráfico.
• DESVIACIÓN: Tomar la Salida 22B (US 54/Alamogordo/Juárez/Fort Bliss) a US 54 Norte, tomar la Salida 23 (Cassidy Road/Fort Bliss), tomar la Salida 22B (Pershing Drive), utilizar el retorno para US 54 Sur y seguir los señalamientos para Cd. Juárez.
• La Rampa G que conecta I-10 Este hacia Cd. Juárez estará cerrada al tráfico.
• DESVIACIÓN :  Tomar la Salida 22B (US 54/Alamogordo/Juárez/Fort Bliss) a US 54 Norte, tomar la Salida 22B (Pershing Drive),  utilizar el retorno para US 54 Sur y seguir los señalamientos para Cd. Juárez.
• Gateway Boulevard Este estará cerrado al tráfico a la altura de Lincoln Center de manera intermitente.

Martes 30 de julio y miércoles 31 
9pm a 5am

• I-10 Este sobre US 54 estará cerrado al  tráfico.
• DESVIACIÓN I-10 ESTE: Automovilistas deben tomar la Salida 22A (Loop 478/Copia Street), continuar en Gateway Boulevard Este y volverse a integrar al I-10 en la Calle Raynolds.
• US 54 NORTE: Después de tomar I-10, tomar la Salida 24A (Trowbridge Drive), tomar el retorno para I-10 Oeste, tomar la Salida 22B (US 54/Alamogordo/Juárez/Fort Bliss).
• DESVIACIÓN CIUDAD JUÁREZ: Seguir en Gateway Boulevard Este, doblar a la derecha en US 62 Este (Paisano Drive) y continuar hacia el Puente de las Américas.
• El carril de la izquierda en I-10 sobre US 54 Oeste estará cerrado.

Cuadrillas estarán trabajando en una nueva columna.

Domingo 28 de julio, 9pm a 5am

• US 62 (Paisano Drive) Este estará cerrado al tráfico entre Gateway Boulevard Norte y Gateway Boulevard Sur. 
• DESVIACION: El tráfico del Este dobla a la derecha en la Calle San Marcial, izquierda en Delta Drive, izquierda en la Calle Boone, y se vuelve a integrar al US 62 (Paisano Drive). 

Cuadrillas estarán trabajando en la losa de concreto para el puente.

Domingo, 28 de julio, hasta jueves 1ero de agosto
Cada noche 9pm a 5am

• SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) estará cerrado al tráfico sobre US 54.
• DESVIACIONES: El tráfico hacia el este dobla a la izquierda en Circuito 478 (Copia Street), derecha en Gateway Boulevard Este, izquierda en Calle Raynolds. El tráfico hacia el oeste toma US 62 (Paisano Drive) y dobla a la derecha en Loop 478 (Calle Copia).
• AVISO: La Calle Alameda permanecerá abierta solamente para el tráfico local excepto el área inmediatamente debajo de US 54.

Cuadrillas estarán preparando partes de una rampa existente para demolición.

Lunes 29 de julio hasta miércoles 31 
9am a 4pm

• La rampa de Gateway Boulevard Norte hacia I-110 junto al El Paso Zoológico estará cerrada al tráfico.
• DESVIACIÓN: Gateway Boulevard Norte, doblar a la derecha en SH 20 (Alameda Avenue), izquierda en Raynolds, tomar I-10 Oeste o Este.

Cuadrillas estarán trabajando en la losa de concreto para el puente.
