Yes, they are driving too fast. At SWHRL's request, PBOT conducted a traffic speed study on lower SW Broadway Drive, and the results are in: 92% of east bound drivers exceed the speed limit, and 26% exceed it by 10mph.

How Sharp are your Eyes?
This is a friendly reminder to check your property for trespassers, particularly if you live on a house with stilts or on a steep slope. As the Gander Ridge area of SWHRL can attest, with illegal camps come propane tank explosions and fires. This could prove to be especially hazardous as we head in to the dry season - continue for more safety information 
 
Future of Neighborhood Associations Up in the Air

We need your help. The Office of Community and Civic Life has started a process whereby the definition and description of the Neighborhood Association entity will be excised from the City Code - continue
 

Land Use
SWHRL has appealed to City Council the Hearings Officer's decision to approve the proposed development of Tangent Village, a 20-unit duplex/townhouse, Planned Development, located at the end of SW Tangent St, and between SW Davenport St and SW Broadway Drive.
