The two rocks in the picture sit in the bay of Paros island and to me are both a physical and symbolic representation of a place where I feel I belong. The Cycladic Greek island of Paros was my home for almost three years as a young child and to this day remains my spiritual refuge. 

Coming here sparks so many memories and emotions in me and while the island is now much more highly developed and touristic than it was, it still captivates me and has become a part of the fabric of my soul. The rocks that never change leave me in awe of the emotional power a place can have and this is especially true if you spent your early childhood there. Each nook and cranny unfolds a different moment in time and the memories it holds.
