Happy September Everyone!

Turned out to be a beautiful summer after all and looks like we're going to have many more nice weeks going into fall.  If you're into gardening and like walking many people to not know there is an organization that gives you information on great garden tours - check the article on our site at https://www.ottawaseniors.com/did-you-know-there-more-than-75-gardens-in-ottawa/ Get out and see more than 75 of them while the weather is still good!

Also, finally the new Light Rail system is supposed to become active around the 14th of September.  You might want to wait a couple of days before trying it or wait for a free Wednesday or Sunday but get out and see it and view the beautiful stations.  Go to either end (Tunney's Pasture) or Gloucester City Centre at Blair and ride the whole way back and forth.

Also now is the perfect time to hit the markets while the harvesting is at full bore.  Enjoy great local food and help support the farmer's markets while they're active!.  You'll find a great list of them at https://ottawastart.com/a-big-list-of-ottawa-farmers-markets/

Don't forget to check out the events calendar on our site OttawaSeniors.com.

Enjoy the month! Get Busy! Get out and about!
