Legally qualified chairs sought for police misconduct hearings

Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), Lorne Green, is joining PCCs from across the eastern region to recruit up to 15 legally qualified chairs (LQCs). 

Successful candidates will join a panel of LQCs presiding over misconduct hearings involving police officers from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Norfolk constabularies.

Applications are sought from qualified lawyers who can demonstrate integrity and independence of mind, commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, sound judgement and an objective approach to the issues presented.
