Guest presenters:
- Fonta J. Gilliam, CEO & Founder of Invest Sou Sou, a local fintech company, will be presenting a quick demo on a new virtual lending platform, DC Capital Connector. The DC Capital Connector will use cutting-edge fintech and artificial intelligence (AI) to connect DC-based small businesses to banks, surety bonding companies and business development resources that can help them grow and scale. This is a great opportunity for local organizations to provide feedback on this initiative before the platform is launched this fall.
- Shara Gibson, the founder of CaniVentures, will be sharing information about her business and the potential entrepreneurial opportunities for those interested in the cannibals industry, and discussing the training needs of existing businesses and startup entering this industry.
