UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION, FEES & EXPENSES
Booster Expenses and School Lab Fees are due August 20th and 22nd.
SENIORS & JUNIORS - due Tuesday, August 20, from 5:00-7:00pm!
SOPHOMORES & FRESHMAN - due Thursday, August 22, from 5:00-7:00pm!

So, what will you owe? Here's a few scenarios that should cover most situations:
- Student A is in Marching/Wind Ensemble only. They will owe $200 to the Band Boosters and $175 to Sandia HS for lab fees.
- Student B is in Marching/Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. They will owe $200 to the Band Boosters and $250 to Sandia HS for lab fees. Each band has it's own separate lab fees for each class. But students will only owe 1 booster expense.
- Student C is in Jazz Band only. The will owe $50 to the Band Boosters and $75 to Sandia HS for lab fees.
~We need all students(Marching, Wind Symphony, Color Guard & all other bands) to attend their day.~
If paying by check, please bring two checks as the fees and expenses are payable to two different groups:
School Lab Fees are payable to “Sandia High School”, cash or checks.
Booster Expenses are payable to “Sandia Band Boosters”, cash or checks.
*Credit and Debit cards will be subject to a 4% fee (this is what the service charges).
PRE-ORDER YOUR BAND FAN APPAREL TODAY!
We have t-shirts, jackets (windbreaker style), hats and decals! Orders due by August 29th in the Band Room Safe. Order forms are available in the band room. An online form will be available later this week.
FIRST FOOTBALL GAME OF THE SEASON
Our first scheduled game is August 23 at Nusenda Community Stadium. Since this stadium is way out on the southwest side of town, we will be making attendance optional for this game. The band will not perform on the field, but will play pep tunes in the stadium. This is a good opportunity for a dry run for packing the truck. This also will orient new band students and parents in what to expect when students go to the games. Students will have to provide their own transportation. If parents are willing and available, we can form a carpool option. We would meet at Sandia HS in the senior parking lot at 5:30. Next week we will have a better idea of how many students need a ride and how many cars we will need. Please respond to this email if you can help with the carpool and how many people you can take. FUNDRAISING NEWS:
RESTAURANT DAY FOR AUGUST
Come join us Wednesday, August 21 at Twisters on Wyoming, south of Menaul for an all day band fundraiser. 20% of sales will be donated to the band. You will need to present a coupon for the band to get credit. TwistersCoupons
GOODWILL! (AND CARWASH!)
Get ready to clean out those garages and closets! Our Fall Goodwill Fundraiser is set for August 24th and 25th from 9am-2pm. We will also have our very popular car wash station set up so get two errands done in one stop! Students will have a chance to sign up to work one or both these days. This is a general accounts fundraiser with students earning Service Points for attending and working this event.
KRISPY KREME BOGO CARDS
Krispy Kreme cards are now available for check out from Mr. North. Each card will sell for $20. $10 will go into the student's travel account. Each card has 10 coupons. For each coupon, you buy 1 dozen donuts, you get 1 dozen free. Money from cards sold is due Monday, September 9th by 3pm in the band room safe.
