Why Attend Biz.ONE?
Indianapolis, here we come! This marks the third year that Eventful Conferences has taken over the annual North American Business One User’s Conference, and rebranded it Biz.ONE. Since taking over the event from the partner community, the team at Eventful has fundamentally changed the look and feel of this event. These changes are illustrated in two major ways.
Organization
From event scheduling, to the venues and the registration experience, it’s clear that Eventful has done this before. One thing that impressed us was the event registration kiosk that attendees use to sign in at the beginning of the event. This experience underlines Eventful’s attention to detail in organizing a top-notch event that flows smoothly. As always, you can expect clear agendas and great catering during the event too.
Session Content
As soon as Eventful took over, it was clear that their approach to the session content was different. Each year, Erick Randolph from the Eventful team collects and publishes a research report on the trending topics of the SAP Business One User Community. This report drives the selection of session abstracts from SAP Business One users.
If you participated in an ASUG conference in the past, you might have felt that it was one big advertising commercial for the numerous SSPs (software add-on providers) that are part of the community. Although the SSPs are still part of the event, the sessions are more geared toward user-delivered content. This means the majority of the session content is delivered by SAP Business One users just like you. In fact, one of our own customers—Milena Radakovic, President at Nexus Exhibits—is delivering a keynote session at this year's conference! In short, the Biz.ONE agenda is very different.
Biz.ONE is like professional development for your SAP Business One investment! If you're facing a major decision around ERP, or simply looking to improve the way you use your system, you should be attending. Biz.ONE is what you make it! It’s up to you to leverage the content and the connections you make at the event. However, the customers and users that do grasp this opportunity are continually implementing improvements in their business. The time and expense of going can quickly pay dividends.
