The City of Malibu Cultural Arts Commission is organizing a collaborative community exhibition titled Radical Beauty, Malibu Rising. They launched an OPEN CALL to artists to create work related to the Woolsey Fire that devastated that community last November. A selection of the work will be featured in the Malibu City Hall.
The painting series this week will be inspired by a series of images from the Woolsey Fire, and it will culminate in a roofless session at the Paramount Ranch, where only one of the famous structures in the iconic outdoor movie set survived the fire.
