H.265 allows for data to be compressed at roughly 50% better than conventional H.264 engines found in most recorder systems - meaning you store twice as much on the same HDD! This creates efficiency, when downloading/backup data it takes better than half the time - combine this with remote login and you can transfer data faster using less bandwidth and live stream higher quality images...it all flows on. This is a game changer for those looking at improving quality without compromise with process and timeline enhancement.

DashCam
Windscreen mounted system records 1 -2 Cameras to SD card and can recorder generally around 1080HD. Can be with or without screen.
Limitations are the amount of recorded data able to be stored, the higher the image the more storage consumed...generally 10-30 hours is about all you get. Lacks features for Event recording and user controls - Normally for short run or private use applications.
MDVR - Mobile Recorder
These are a separate unit that takes 1 or 2 HDD's or 2 SD cards and can take 1-8 Camera inputs and often with SD or HDD redundancy - can have WiFi or 3G/4G capabilities. Some of our systems use the Cloud, FTP Server, Emails or your own Server to store important data using WiFi/4G which allows for live login and downloads with GPS tracking and GEO Fencing. These systems have a wide variety of tailored event options and outcomes...like uploading snapshots or videos on events while recording everything to built in HDD/SSD to ensure you have data availability. The biggest advantage of these systems is the amount of data able to be stored - using 1tb up to 6tb HDD/SSD (unit dependent) means you have many 100's of hours of available recorded data available - with H.265 Compression engine now increasing this capacity while giving a higher image quality at the same time. These units allow for Alarm inputs or Triggers or you can utilise many of the built in Events or create your own for a variety of different outcomes - system dependent. Depending on the MDVR you can send the event to an FTP server, email, upload to an offsite data-store, lock away on HDD or simply create an Event to search on the HDD and download to your computer at a later date. These units are something that can be tailored to suit what you requirements and is just a matter of how you set the system up and build a kit that is a plug and play system.
