Welcome the August full moon and take inspiration from artist Vija Celmins’ night sky-inspired graphite and charcoal drawings. Experiment with creating dense gray and black backgrounds and using erasers as essential mark making tools during this evening Open Studio session. This drop-in program is free, and all materials will be provided.

Riverfest Open Studio at Little Engine Studio
Work with watercolors and dive deeply into blues and greens. This drop-in program is free, and will take place throughout the afternoon during Frenchtown’s annual celebration of life along the Delaware. Take inspiration from artist Georgia O’Keeffe’s abstract images of lakes and rivers, but the end results will be all our own. All materials will be provided.
At Little Engine, we believe everyone is creative, process is just as—if not more—important as product, and slow is OK. Open Studio programs offer informal opportunities to explore materials, techniques, and more while connecting with new and familiar faces in an intimate space. All ages welcome and encouraged!
