Back to... school? routines? same ol' thing?

August is a time when some of us think about getting back into routines. School routines. Activity routines. Even the church calendar routines seem to start up again.
This fall, the church calendar is filling up. It's not just busy work though. Our church leaders are prayerfully at work, already planning for 2020! One of the biggest shifts we are working on is a change in our leadership structure. For two years, Mount Tabor leaders have been investigating, considering, and planning for a new "single board structure." Currently, our leadership structure consists of a LOT of committees and many people overlap. That means lots of meetings! Sometimes, we ask people to serve in leadership and they say no because they don't have time for meetings. I get it! I want to spend my time serving in areas I'm passionate about, not hashing out details of things that I'm not interested in. I want you to be free to do the same. You will hear more about this new structure in the months to come. For now, please pray for our leaders as we make this transition!
