Claremont Knightline: Makeup orientation tomorrow

DID YOU MISS ORIENTATION THIS WEEK? COME TO THE SCHOOL GYM FRIDAY AT 9AM!

For families who missed orientation on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, there will be CMS staff in the gym tomorrow at 9am ready to take your paperwork. By completing your student's paperwork on Friday, you will avoid any long lines on the first day of school on Monday. Here is more info:

1. ENTER THE SCHOOL ON BIRCH COURT, THE STREET ACROSS FROM TRADER JOE'S
The field construction is still happening so the Miles street entrance is closed. The front door is also closed. Please enter Claremont on Birch Court, which is the street across from Trader Joe's.

2. CHECK OUT THE CLAREMONT WEBSITE FOR ADDITIONAL FORMS
See the welcome packet on the school website as well as the latest forms for ordering your student's gym clothes, permission slips and more. The forms will also be at orientation but having these filled out will help make everything go faster.

If your student is new to OUSD make sure to bring a copy of the immunization record and last report card

3. MORE ABOUT THE FORMS:
No need to print Schoolmint forms if you completed them online. But if you haven't completed them, you can find them here: Claremont website https://www.claremontms.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/additional-Claremont-forms.pdf. You only need the PE and/or yearbook forms if you plan to purchase tomorrow. You will also need to bring the procedures and policies (found in the Welcome packet) sent over the summer signed by you AND your student.

4. THE AFTER SCHOOL FORM:
All families must complete an after school form even if your child has no current plans to participate in the after school program. These forms are required for sports and any after school activity your child might - even unexpectedly! - participate in.

5. THE SCHOOL LUNCH FORM
All families must fill out the school lunch form. If you completed the form online, bring a print out showing it was completed. If you did not do it online, or don't have a print out, you must do it in person (link to online form https://mealapps.ousd.org/).

6. BRING CASH, CHECK, CREDIT CARDS
Be sure to also being cash, money orders, or credit cards to purchase PE clothes and pre-order yearbooks.
