Dear <<Greeting>>
Open Singing Day
Our 2019-2020 season begins with an Open Singing Day, led by Leslie Olive, exploring Vaughan Williams' exhilarating A Sea Symphony, which the Chorale is performing three times in 2020 - in St Edmundsbury Cathedral, in the Duke's Hall at the Royal Academy of Music and in Prague. The singing day is being held at Holy Trinity Church, Redhill, on Saturday September 21st - full details, application forms and instructions can be found on our website.

2019-2020

The second event in our 40th anniversary season will be a celebration choral evensong in St Mary's Church Reigate, where the Chorale was founded, and after a suitable break for refreshment, there will be a performance of Vivaldi's Gloria.
In November the same church will resound to Saint-Saëns' mighty "Organ" Symphony, with soloist Alex Binns, and the Requiem by Gabriel Fauré.

Tokyo or Bust!

Patrick McIntosh, the "M" in KMG (our corporate sponsor), appears to be nearing the end of his epic cycle ride to Tokyo (only 7,557 miles!), raising awareness and funds for cancer research and St Catherine's Hospice. He is aiming to reach Tokyo in time for the Rugby World Cup, which starts on 20th September.

According to his website here, he appears to be almost across Russia, and close to the finish line, although it may not seem so to Patrick. Please make a donation towards his £250,000 target - click here - certainly a worthy cause, and surely an undertaking deserving of everybody's support.
