Happy August SJB!

It's getting to be that time when we start thinking, 'Back to School!" We've been busy getting ready to welcome our families back from summer break! Soon you will begin to receive the weekly newsletter on Sunday afternoons, but I want to make sure you have some upcoming events on your calendars so you don't miss out on the fun! I've also included a few helpful links.

Thursday, August 29 Back to School Open House 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
Come for school pictures (no need to wear a uniform), meet the teachers, connect with old and new friends, and take care of any last minutes questions or needs. Our FREE used uniform selection will be on display as well.

Tuesday, September 3rd FIRST DAY OF THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR!

Saturday, September 7th Heimatfest Parade

It's a tradition at St. John's to be in the Hemiatfest Parade! The sixth-grade class decorates a float for students to ride. We gather in the school parking lot at 10:15 to join the sixth-grade class and line up. More information to come soon!

Thursday, September 12th 6:30 pm
School Advisory Council Meeting in the school conference room

Sunday, September 15th St. John's Fall Festival 9:30am-4: 00 pm
This is a fun day for our parish community that includes bingo, a kids' Funland, pull-tabs, dinner, beer & wine, and much more. Click here to learn more!

Thursday, September 19th Curriculum Night/Parent Meeting 6 pm
This is an important night for all parents to attend. We will begin with an overall "state of the school" address and then you will be given the opportunity to experience a day in the life of your child at SJB. Grade level teachers will let you know what to expect this school year, and well as share information about communication, curriculum, expectations, and more!

Below are some helpful links! Look for an updated parent handbook and school picture information coming soon!

Many blessings to you all!
