Dear friend,

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered away from the faith, and pierced themselves with many griefs” (1 Timothy 6:10).

When we want to get rich, we actually love money. When I want to get rich, my motivations are pride, greed, or an unhealthy urge to prepare for uncertain economic times. I will love money. However, when I practice God’s perspective, my motives completely change. I want to be a faithful steward, wisely investing the money God entrusts to me. I simply want to please Him. I love God- not money.
Have you ever found yourself loving money? Was there something specific that directed your heart towards a desire to be rich?
friend, thank you for allowing me to walk with you on your financial journey.
