Dear ISL families,

The start of another school year is upon us, and we are excited to see all of our students and look forward to working with them this year and encouraging each of them towards academic excellence. We have high expectations for our students, and know they will rise to the challenge.  There are many wonderful things in store for you and your child this year at ISL. 

We would like to welcome all of our new families into the ISL community. It will be an exciting time for growth as we embark on this journey of learning through language  immersion, together. Please know that we are here to support you and your family throughout the days to come. Each member of our ISL family is a part of what makes our school a very special learning institution. We take pride in providing a challenging education, emphasizing language immersion, international awareness, celebration of diversity and community responsibility. Our global perspective makes for competitive and first class students.

This year, we have exciting news to share with our school community!

Please join me in congratulating Mr. Brandon Ferguson who has graciously accepted the Associate Principal for the Westbank Campus. As Ms. Tennyson mentioned in her letter, I will continue working closely with Mr. Ferguson to help guide and support him and Ms. Paloma Macias (Assistant Principal) who will continue working with grades K-2.  

We look forward to developing meaningful and lasting relationships with all of our families as we know it truly does take a village to educate children. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education.

In order to protect our student’s' identity and privacy, honor parents' photo consent requests, and ensure our student and campus safety, PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO ARE NOT ALLOWED ON CAMPUS without written approval. PLEASE NOTE: Even with an approved photo pass, use of a personal phone is not allowed. Photos/videos must be taken with an ISL device. An ISL camera is available at each campus front office and may be requested for this purpose.
