Due to the East Sanitary Sewer expansion, there will be some road closures and traffic interruptions on Ditson Drive throughout the next few weeks:
•The Senses Unleashed Dog Park
•CN Rail-line between Railway and Ditson.

Residents of Rosedale will need to take the detour to the East Grid on HWY 7 (BrookHollow entrance) or HWY 21 adjoining grid.

1912 Water Tower Demolition

You may have noticed a change to our skyline here in Kindersley. On July 19 our 1912 water tower was demolished. Although it was a historic icon in our town, due to structural integrity, it had to be removed. We will be creating a commemorative piece for it in the near future.

Meet Our Tourism Advisors Sage and Madison

My name is Sage and I was born and raised in Kindersley. As I grew up I was very involved in music and dance, both of which are how I continue to enjoy my spare time. I just completed my second year of studies at the University of Saskatchewan, where I am majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology. I am excited to work in the Kindersley Tourism Centre this summer. I look forward to learning more of the history of Kindersley as well as plan some fun events over the summer!

My name is Madison and I was raised here in Kindersley. I am 19 years old. While I grew up here I was an active member of the Kindersley Figure Skating Club and Student Leadership Council, and played softball and volleyball. I just finished my second year of University at the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. I am majoring in Finance. In my free time I like to read, go for walks, and hang out with family and friends. I will be working at the Museum as a Tourism Advisor for the summer. I love to visit with people so feel free to approach me with any questions or inquiries!

Frequently Asked Questions

How Old Must a Child be to Swim Alone?
Children under 7 or non-swimmers who cannot pass the "swim test" must be within arms reach of a responsible caregiver, an adult or youth who is a proficient swimmer. The "swim test" is being able to swim 12 metres (width of the Jr. Olympic Pool) with a recognizable stroke. This is up to the Lifeguards discretion whether or not the non-swimmer passes the test.
