With the completion of the church-wide assembly, there were multiple resolutions passed. Often following such events, there is incomplete and inaccurate information being given on the "behalf" of the ELCA. It is important that complete and accurate information is released. As more information becomes available, we will keep you informed. It is always important to remember that we are congregational based. The ELCA makes recommendations and passes social statements that encompasses a large range of congregations that belong to the ELCA. Some items are mandates and some are for guidance. It is important that we all walk together, in our sameness and in our differences, as the body of Christ, in the love of God for us, in Jesus Christ.
