Jazz&Blues in the mountains:
The Boquete festival venue The festival venue is a beautiful replica of a Greek-style amphitheater with 800 seats in Valle Escondido (The hidden valley), Boquete's most upscale residential development.
Everybody who has ever enjoyed the festival there will tell you that it is one of the most beautiful places you could think of, with great acoustics and unobstructed views of the stage, just perfect for an intimate music festival. Musicians just love it! The steeply sloped seating area will be partially covered by sun sails (preferred seating area) while the platinum seating area at the top will enjoy sun&rain protection plus chairs
Note: Stand-alone tickets for our ever-popular Garden Party will be available in January 2020 for $35. However, in order to honor the support of the festival by patrons purchasing festival passes garden party tickets bought in conjunction with any 3day festival pass will be $25 only, one ticket per pass. This event will sell out, so be sure to include a Garden Party ticket when purchasing your early bird festival pass online!
Jam sessions and after parties No worries, party animals: Like the years before we will have a jam session every night plus two open mic pro-am sessions and after parties at various venues around town. Details are still being worked out and will be published in time here and on the BJBF website, and facebook page, so stay tuned! Jazz&Blues on the beach:
GATHER • GROOVE • GET DOWN Buenaventura Resort is a destination in itself: golf, restaurants, spa, beach club and more. The resort is 90 minutes west of Panama City, the Miami of Central America. Music program Three days and three dozen performances on three stages, including live jam sessions where the artists get to play with musicians outside their own bands.
