Dear Volunteers,
As many of you have heard, our organization will be going through some changes. We will be rebuilding after the news that GECAC has decided not to renew our contract to deliver meals to their clients after October 1, 2019. This will be a challenge for Meals on Wheels Erie, but our strong Board of Directors and hard-working staff are planning for growth and a bright future. Meals will still be prepared by the LECOM Senior Living Center kitchen for our Private Pay and Under 60 Program clients. We will be expanding our delivery territory for our Private Pay Program further into the county and adding routes. We will also be  promoting our Grocery Shopping and Delivery Program far and wide.

We have heard from many of our volunteers that there is some confusion and questions. Please know we are here for your calls and questions. We hope you will stay on as Meals on Wheels Erie volunteers as we grow and enter our 49th year of serving this community.  We will be in touch with updates in the next few weeks and months. Thank you for all you do. You are so very valuable to us.
