Register  your business for the $13B JFK Redevelopment Project

The Port Authority and its partners are investing $13 billion to transform JFK into a world-class airport. The new airport facilities will open in 2025 and will require numerous goods and services to complete. The Port Authority and its partners are committed to ensuring that local businesses in Queens are matched to these opportunities.

To facilitate this the Port Authority is conducting a census to collect information about local business and the products and services that local business offers. You will need information on your employees, business history, and products and services to complete this quick survey.

This information will help the Port Authority and terminal developers hire as many local businesses as possible. The responses you provide will only be shared with the Port Authority and the terminal developers!

GatewayJFK Doubles Sanitation Service

Staring this summer, GatewayJFK will be providing the neighborhood twice as many cleaning services. In January GatewayJFK hired Wildcat Services to provide supplemental sanitation service to the 215 acre GatewayJFK area on a weekly basis. Now, Wildcat’s staff will be working multiple days each week to provide street and sidewalk cleaning, trash removal, graffiti removal, and landscaping services. In the winter the sanitation crew (recognizable in their bright green shirts and vests), will be working one day per week, and during the spring, summer and fall they will work multiple days per week.

"Due to the commercial nature of the neighborhood GatewayJFK has often been the victim of extensive littering and illegal dumping." said Scott Grimm-Lyon, Executive Director of GatewayJFK "We decided that we needed to take a stronger stance and to keep the streets clean. By expanding our sanitation service we will create a noticeable improvement in the neighborhood."

To report illegal dumping, graffiti, or other issues that should be cleaned please use our Quality of Life Web Form at gatewayjfk.org.

Round 1 of Sponsored Banners go up in GatewayJFK

In July, banners sponsored by SEAGIS Property Group and HILO Equipment and Services were put up as part of GatewayJFK's marketing and branding program. These banners join an additional twenty banners along Rockaway Blvd. and throughout the surrounding neighborhood streets intended to help people in the neighborhood understand that the place has an identity and that our public space is being managed.

GatewayJFK is seeking additional sponsors to help install additional banners this fall. Each sponsor will have their company logo displayed for one full-year on the lower portion of the banner. Sponsoring a single banner will cost $1000.00, and sponsoring 3 or more banners will cost $750.00 per banner. GatewayJFK is a 501 c3 not for profit organization and all sponsorships are tax-deductible.

If you’re interested in becoming a banner sponsor please contact Scott Grimm-Lyon the Executive Director of GatewayJFK at 516-730-3400 or by email at scott@gatewayjfk.org.
