The Nightline Phoneline Launch


Are you a night owl, insomniac, shift-worker or dreamer? We’re collecting late-night phone messages for a creative audio project about the city at night and would love to hear what’s keeping you awake.

UTP is super excited to be working with theatre director Roslyn Oades and sound artist Bob Scott to present the next edition of The Nightline in 2020.

Bilingual Kids' Art Lab Callout


We’re co-producing the Bilingual Kids’ Arts Lab with Arab Theatre Studio. Together, we’re creating a space to host an intensive arts lab with professional artists and young people from an Arabic speaking background during the October school holidays. Kids can experiment with language, and play with ideas across different art forms. 

Expression of interest closes on Friday 6th September.

UTP Ensemble Update


We are excited to announce the UTP Ensemble members - Harsh Yalam, Hope Lee, Shaan Palankar, Phoebe Birett, Aeron Vicente, Samuel Kanaan-Oringo and Miriam MubayyidAs the next generation of young artists from Western Sydney, this group will form a new collaborative, multi-disciplinary ensemble. The UTP Ensemble will work with director Amy Hardingham throughout August - September with an intensive workshop in the Spring school holidays in October.

UTP is looking for a General Manager to be the link between the artistic imperatives and business outcomes of UTP. In collaboration with the Artistic Director/CEO, the General Manager will effectively develop and realise UTP’s business plan to ensure the organisations artistic and economic viability and meet stakeholder obligations. The General Manager is also responsible for ensuring that UTP’s business, financial, physical and human resources are maintained and/or enhanced to safeguard the Company’s short and long term future.

We're about to announce something big


UTP Blak Box Curator Daniel Browning has been working on a newly commissioned program of sound works which will be presented at Barangaroo Reserve in October - November this year.
