Marriage Conference Opens Doors
The day after Curtis posted our upcoming marriage conference on the church website a young couple responded and then called needing immediate help. They are an unchurched couple who has been living together for 4 years and have two children living in the home. This engaged couple's relationship is in crisis and they have turned to us for help. What an amazing opportunity God has given us to share Christ's love through Biblical Counseling. We have met twice in person and continue conversations with them via texts throughout the week. We do not know where they stand with the Lord. Either they are unsaved or they have been walking very far from God for a long time.
Please be praying for Curtis and I as we meet weekly with W & N. Pray we can clearly present Biblical Truths for their lives and situations. Pray they will meet Christ in this process and turn their lives over to Him! We believe God is in the restoration business and this young couple has so much brokenness in their lives.
Pray also that couples in both the church and community will commit to join the art of marriage conference happening Aug 16-17. We are praying for a transformational weekend for everyone who attends.

When God Answers Prayers we Praise Him!
- We praise God for an average attendance of 38 kids who attended our VBS at New Hope. At least one of them received Christ as Savior! Only a dozen of these kids regularly attend church. We've had a couple of them come back without adults for church. Please pray as we continue to reach these kids this fall through the Awana Ministry. Curtis will be the Awana Commander again this year.
- We praise God that all of Rachel's medical bills from her shoulder surgery have been paid off. Thank you to those who gave towards this need. Our roof needs more work than previously expected. The total cost will be around $7,000. We will have to break it up into two seperate jobs. We are praising God for the funds to complete the first job ($2,400) but are praying for God to provide the rest.
- We praise God for the short term missionaries we oversaw this summer. We are thankful they had a wonderful summer serving the Lord this summer at Homestead Bible Camp in CO.
- We praise God that Noah had a wonderful time on his first missions trip to KY this past month. They mowed lawns, helped move a family, worked at a coffee shop, and passed out meals to those in need and worked.

Prayer Needs:
As President of the Board for the Pregnancy Help Center, Rachel will be helping oversee our annual fundraising banquet in September, and a huge move to a new facility in October. She is also looking at reviewing policies, adding new board members (desperate need), and leading the board as we implement a new 3 year strategic plan for being able to offer ultrasounds.
Our dear friends the Magnusons have moved closer to us. They have 5 children and the mom, Amber, was diagnosed with brain cancer 4 years ago. She has had two brain surgeries, radiation and chemo. They have moved closer so Rachel can help with after school / homework help with the 4 older kids. We are thankful that Be One Together is allowing us to include this as part of our official ministry.
Rachel's Aunt Pam who has been living with us the past 3 years has been diagnosed with Dementia and the time is rapidly approaching when we need to place her into a home where she wont be left alone for hours each day. Please be praying for us as we look into prospective homes and as we transition her to live somewhere else. It has been great to have her with us but she is needing more care than what we can provide.
