We'll have key experts covering important Lake Erie issues like
- harmful algal blooms and water quality
- Lake Erie fisheries
- marine debris and pollution
The workshop also includes
- a Lake Erie science cruise on a Stone Lab research boat
- tours of Gibraltar Island, historic buildings and research facilities
- hands-on science experiences like plankton sampling and fish trawls

Registered attendees should take the Miller Ferry from Catawba Point (5174 E. Water Street Port Clinton, OH 43452) to South Bass Island on August 27. Stone Lab vans will meet the ferry that departs at 9:30 a.m.
