Welcome Back from Summer
3-part social event to kick start the new season!

SAVE THE DATE
Friday, September 27 at 6:45 pm

We will start outside with Fr. Brian leading us in a short ceremony,
blessing our newly renovated steeple, then go into the church for a contemporary music concert titled "Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow", presented by our Music Ministry with an intergenerational vocal ensemble and band, followed by a reception downstairs in our Parish Hall.

This is the event of the season that can't be missed!

Heartfelt Thanks
by Sr. Mary Joseph Schultz, SCC

How can I sum up three years of love, prayer, activity, generosity, support, family spirit, sorrow, tears, creativity, and joy?  IMPOSSIBLE!  And there is no need to sum it up or to say good-bye.  Though I will be across the ocean, I will stay connected to many through the e-newsletter, email, Facebook, and most of all in the Eucharist and in prayer.  And I will come to visit when I am here on vacation.

Thank you to each and every one of you for the heartfelt welcome I received when I arrived in 2016.  I have experienced your care and support from the beginning, and I have loved getting to know more and more individuals by name.  Your responses to our outreach ministries have been overwhelming, not only at Christmas but all through the year.  Your participation in Women of Grace, Bible study, FBRE, and all the other parish activities, ongoing and one-time events, has been inspirational.  I have learned so much and received so much love and spiritual nourishment from you all.

Thank you to Father Brian for his outstanding pastoral leadership, to Father Marcin, and the entire devoted CTK staff.  It has been a rare blessing to work with you and feel so much dedication to the Church and support of one another.  Thanks to all who have taken leadership roles in the various ministries, and those who serve in numerous ways.  I cannot name you all but I could not have managed my own role without you.

I also greatly appreciate the support you have shown the Sisters of Christian Charity and our various activities, the move into the new motherhouse, and fund-raisers.  It has NOT gone unnoticed.  My congregation is also deeply grateful for your support and your visits to Mendham.  Our relationships, begun many years ago in the parish, will continue.

May God bless each of you!  You have my love and friendship forever.  If anyone visits Germany, please do come to check out our little corner in Paderborn.  You are more than welcome!

Lovingly,
Sister Mary Joseph
