Dear Friends,
When we gather in meditation every full moon through the ritual of ceremony and prayer with the Earth Treasure Vase practice, we are creating the conditions to enter into sacred time – when the experience of ordinary reality falls away and “miracles” become possible. We see the Way. Insight is there. Our creativity is catalyzed. Our practice of sacred activism brings us into an intimate relationship to Mother Gaia, and we open up to something so much larger than ourselves. This is when we experience that anything is possible.
Little holy vessels planted in close to 60 locations around the planet, filled with the prayers and symbolic offerings of thousands of us, have now formed a global mandala of powerful healing intentions. When we invoke this web of light and love for the Earth on the full moon we open a beautiful portal—that crack in everything that lets the light in—and when we collectively imagine that very light radiating out in every direction carrying our love and prayers for healing wherever it is needed in whatever form is needed, we are participating in the miraculous. Building peace. Healing our hearts. Experiencing Interbeing. This is medicine for our times.

New Zealand-Aotearoa: the next node on the Global ETV Mandala

This week the next Earth Treasure Vase will be delivered to Therese Hogan and Etai Gilad in Hawaii, who with ETV in hand, will visit the ETV site on Haleakala for the full moon and weave the threads of connection into the vase they will take home to New Zealand, aware that the Maori ancestors of Aotearoa travelled through Hawaii to reach their homelands. Therese writes:
I first became involved with the Earth Treasure Vase practice in 2013 when I joined the journey to place the 29th vase in Australia. Together Etai and I then joined another trip in 2014, when four more vases were dedicated around Australia under the direction and blessing of a beloved elder. These journeys were ones of deep connection, trust, surrender, love, flow and joy—spiritual practice in action. Etai and I continued to facilitate full moon ceremonies including the ETV meditation as we traveled around the world for a number of years. In 2017 we moved to Aotearoa, New Zealand and have re-connected with the ETV family in meditation on the full moon and with a small circle of friends who join us each month in Raglan where we live. We formed an intention to steward a vase here if it was to be and the decision for a vase to come to New Zealand has been enthusiastically supported by the community here as well as the global ETV community. There is a sense that the potent life force of this land may be an activation point of healing and regenerative energy in the global mandala, an acknowledgement of New Zealand being the first place to see the sun rise each new day, the first country to legally recognize a river as a living being, and currently a place of inspiring leadership and positive action in a time of global despair. There are also many calls for healing here—for the waterways, seabeds and coastlines, the endangered dolphins and over-farmed earth, for the upholding of the treaty, return of equality and good living conditions for all people. There is a YES! in response to the question of whether a vase should be in Aotearoa, from people, earth, heart and spirit. And so with the deepening of the practice through the Gaia Calling course we participated in, the support of the ETV Stewardship Council and the community participating in the full moon meditations, we go into the flow and trust that the vase will be guided through the spirit ways of meditation, prayer, dreams and connections to come to rest where it is meant to be. May it be so!

At Science and Nonduality, preeminent scientists, philosophers, mystics and artists gather to explore and advance the new paradigm emerging in spirituality that is both grounded in cutting-edge science and consistent with the ancient wisdom of nonduality—the deep understanding of the interconnectedness of life.
To open the conference, Cynthia is excited to offer a teaching on Sacred Activism for the Great Turning; the Earth Treasure Vase Global Healing Meditation. Like acupuncture needles in the living body of the Earth, little holy vessels known as Earth Treasure Vases have been offered to Gaia to form a healing mandala of nodes and meridians imagined as a web of light to serve us as we awaken together into our own unique role in the great work of our time—to heal the web of life, restore balance and harmony, envision our world anew, and embody that vision with every fiber of our life force for the benefit of all.

Sunday August 11th ONE Meditation: Awakening through Nature
|
|
On Sunday August 11th Cynthia will be leading the global One Meditation, a virtual monthly meditation practice event that is open to everyone, beginner or long time practitioner. It is a unique opportunity for people from all over the globe to gather together in spiritual communion for an extended period of contemplative practice. The theme for this month’s meditation is Awakening through Nature. This theme speaks to the deeper reality that is in all things—is all things, all beings, is nature—the deeper "awakened" reality or Spirit that is inherent in all life. As we sit in silence together, we become open and available to the Great Mystery that is, to the Awakening that already is. In giving ourselves over into the Oneness, the possibility of personal and collective transformation can emerge. These meditation events are offered free of charge and we welcome everyone to participate.
Cynthia will guide the 45-minute meditation starting at 12 PM Eastern/9 AM Pacific on Sunday August 11th. The teaching and guided meditation will be followed by a 45 min silent meditation session to deepen into the teaching. After this, Cynthia will be present for 20 minutes of sharing, at 1:40 PM Eastern/10:40 AM Pacific. Please join us. We look forward to being with you.
