Our goal is to provide elected officials and decision makers with an enjoyable and informative experience on Lake Erie, Ohio’s most valuable natural resource. We strive to help you better understand the critical issues affecting Lake Erie, and for you to help us better understand the concerns and needs of your communities and how we can help. |
The program will include:
- a tour of Stone Lab’s Gibraltar Island
- a visit to the Historic Put-in-Bay Fish Hatchery, now serving as our Aquatic Visitors Center
- a tour of scientific work at our research and water quality laboratories
- presentations by experts on key issues affecting Lake Erie coastal communities
- a science cruise on one of Stone Laboratory’s research vessels, where you’ll experience first-hand some of research we do
The program begins at 10:30 am and concludes at 4:30 pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided; however, we are not able to cover travel and ferry costs.
Please RSVP online. Registration is limited to the first 30 registrants.
