A SPECIAL TOUR OPPORTUNITY
Dear Friends,
From time to time, we offer special tours on Mesa Prieta. In the past, we've gone on outings featuring our numerous and varied flute player petroglyphs, and another exploring a selection of petroglyph depictions of female images.
This year, we're excited to present a unique opportunity to tour and learn about some of the fascinating bird petroglyphs found on the mesa.
On Sunday, October 23rd, 2022, Project Archaeologist, Dr. Chester Liwosz, will take you to see petroglyph raptors, macaws, flickers, turkeys, and waterfowl, and will discuss the possible significance of these images.
We're offering two separate tours, one in the morning, and another in the afternoon, with all guests gathering at the home of Mesa Prieta Petroglyph Project Founder, Katherine Wells for lunch.
Tickets are limited with just 12 participants for each tour.
