FUNDER FOCUS: CONNECT WITH: Applied Materials’ Community Support
NOON, TODAY, SEPTEMBER 14
What do funders look for in a grant proposal: data, stories, both? What kinds of projects do foundations find inspiring? What choices do funders make in support of communities? Join us for Nonprofit Austin at ACC’s Funder Focus series to learn more about the funding and grantmaking process. Bring your questions for this exceptional opportunity to connect directly with those who make funding decisions that support nonprofit work.
Learn more about Applied Materials’ grant-giving process and about what makes a strong application from our guest, Michele Walker-Moak the Community Affairs Manager for Applied Materials. The focus areas for Applied Materials, Inc. and the Applied Materials Foundation include: Education, Civic Engagement, Arts and Culture and the Environment. Support is also given for natural disaster relief and recovery and for the Foundation’s signature women and girls’ empowerment initiative, Generation Girl.
