Hello Everyone,

The officers and board members of the snowmobile club are saddened to inform our members that our former treasurer Mark McLain was arrested today by the NYS Bureau of Criminal Investigations for stealing money from the snowmobile club.  This investigation has been on-going for the past two years and it has finally come to fruition.  There will be an article in the Post Star newspaper tomorrow so we wanted to inform you before the news broke.  The club hopes to get paid restitution for the money that was taken but we won't know that for a while. 

Please understand that the current club administration has put a series of checks and balances in place to prevent this situation from ever happening again.  We are a tight nit community and when something like this happens it's hard to comprehend, especially when it's someone you trusted for so many years.

We will get through this and I truly believe we will come out stronger in the end.
