Next week, Corangamite Shire is providing fully subsidized training opportunities as part of its Sync-up career upskilling program for Corangamite Youth.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Corangamite Shire young people (17-25 years of age) are invited to complete this free accredited training. It is hoped that attendees will gain the necessary qualifications to assist with employment. We are running two sessions which can take up to 15 people each.

• Wednesday 21 September, 11 am - 3 pm, Killara Centre, Camperdown
• Wednesday 28 September, 11 am - 3 pm, Port Campbell Surf Life Saving Club

This workshop is designed for small business, to help prioritise your digital and social media marketing efforts. There are tips, tools, and strategies to enhance your online presence.

The topics covered include:

• Basics of social media
• Different platforms (instagram, facebook, tiktok, youtube, etc)
• Google business suite
• Curating and creating content
• Content plans 

Latest amendments to the pandemic orders were delivered on 8 September 2022.
The following changes now apply:
- the self-isolation period for positive COVID-19 cases who don’t have symptoms on day five of their isolation will reduce from seven to five days (excluding people who work in high-risk settings).
- the requirement to wear masks on domestic flights has also be lifted.
Additionally the work from home recommendation has been lifted.
