Back II Back Basketball Weekend

This month we had our second Back II Back sports weekend, with our Basketball Tournament. In the Youth Hall on Sabbath afternoon, we had our rally with some beautiful worship and praise from the Christchurch Multicultural Filipino youth, and Pr Mebzar Quinto shared a message called Game On! The message was around how life can be like a game at times, but we are all winners as followers of Jesus Christ. On Saturday night we had some fun, food and fellowship with board and card games.

On Sunday morning everyone met at Mainpower Stadium in Rangiora for our tournament where 14 teams played across two grades (Mixed Social and Mixed Championship) The teams played hard and with a Christlike spirit, and God was glorified. Thank you to everyone involved over the weekend and those pastors who supported their churches either by playing on the court or cheering from the sidelines.
