How low do you let your tank get before you refuel? Half tank? Quarter? Red warning light?

JD Power explains, “You might surmise that when your car runs out of gas the engine simply stops running, but it typically doesn't happen that way. Most often the car will show signs of "fuel starvation" that include engine sputter, intermittent power surges, and perhaps even engine backfires.

Fuel starvation. Yeesh. Scary stuff, right?

Our bodies operate in a similar way. Without fuel, we shut down and the damage extends beyond what we may believe. Relationships suffer, our moods are erratic, power is at a low, and it’s really challenging (or impossible) to reach our destination.

We don’t want this for our vehicles, so why would we allow it for our bodies?

When you are operating on empty, the entire system is impacted

Take a minute to think about what fuel means for you. Food, sleep, conversations, movement, social interactions…

How can you ensure that you are never running on empty, <<First Name>>?

My hope is that we all reach our destinations safely and with plenty left in the tank to keep us moving along.

Here for your journey,
Gina
