IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Unified Official Board of the Greenbank and Seagrave Churches will be meeting on Wednesday, September 21st at 7:30 p.m. at Seagrave Church.  This is a very important meeting to discuss the future of the Governance of our Churches.  Please make every effort to attend this meeting



 

The M & P Committee of Greenbank and Seagrave Pastoral Charge will meet on Monday, September 12.  If you have praise or concerns that you would like to share with the committee please submit this in writing to any member of the committee - Debbie Watson, Don Beacock, Donna Kent, Doug Watson, Kelly Monkman, Richard Charron.



 

Bible Study will begin on Monday, September 12 at 9:30 a.m. on-line via Zoom.


 
            Greenbank Food Bank

Thank you to everyone who has generously supported the Greenbank Food Bank.  As we experience rising costs due to inflation the need continues to grow in our community.  If you would like to make a donation to the food bank we are grateful for cash donations but are also in need of specific food items.  If you are able to donate any of the following, please place them in the green bin under the food bank tables.  Thank you for your generosity!

Cereal
Peanut Butter
Canned fish, chicken and ham
Canned fruit
Canned Vegetable (except green beans which we have stock on)
Stuffing Mix

The next Friendship Luncheon                                    will be held on Thursday, September 22 at 12:00 o’clock                      at Greenbank Church.

Greenbank Annual 3 Pitch Tournament
We have some fantastic news to announce …
Our annual 3 Pitch tournament is ON!!
The tournament will get underway on Sept 23 - 25, 2022.
Once again you can register with your current team coach or by calling Al 905.985.3703, Brian 905.985.2562, or Barb 905.985.3903 and be at least 16 years of age by tournament weekend.

To volunteer, please call Larry 905.985.3723, Barb 905.985.3903 or Lila 905.985.3703.
We feel this will be a highly anticipated event as it has been three years since our last tournament.

The Greenbank Lions are accepting donations for eyeglasses, hearing aids, and drink can tabs. Please contact Don Beacock @ 905-985-3595. There is also a drop box on the table at the back of the Seagrave UC sanctuary entrance for the glasses and hearing aids.

Greenbank Lions Club are collecting the tabs from cans. Contact Don at 905- 985-3595 for arrangements.


Canadian Blood Services are seeking donors.  Clinics begin again in September at Scugog Recreation Centre.  Please book your appointments ahead for their upcoming blood donor events. This is a wonderful way to help out fellow Canadians in their times of need.
