The 2022 Lake County Film Festival is coming soon!

We are well into planning for the next Lake County Film Festival, which runs from November 3 - 14.

We've released the first press release, which gives details about our opening night (including the final cut of Patrick Read Johnson's 5-25-77), and the first 19 titles in our feature films lineup. You can find the press release here:

We expect to announce the short films next week, and hopefully the full schedule the week after that.

The Lake County Film Calendar

With the new festival approaching, we've been taking a little bit of time to fix up the website. There's still much to do, but one of our first orders of business was to re-establish the Lake County Film Calendar, which you can find here:

Tomorrow, the film The Cursed One from Ghana, is playing at CLC on Friday, and one of my favorite films, Man With A Movie Camera is playing at the Gorton Center, with a LIVE SCORE.

Looking for help spreading the word about the LCFF

I'm keeping this newsletter brief, since there's still so much to do, and there will be another one coming next week, but I wanted to ask if any of our fans would be interested in spreading the word about the film festival. Besides sharing our content posted on the social media accounts below, we should have printed materials soon, and we could use help distributing them to all the corners of the county.
