A MESSAGE FROM OUR GLOBAL DIRECTOR

"As FY23 picks up, I’m delighted to have joined GPURL’s compelling agenda, and I’m enjoying learning the breadth and depth of our work implementing the Bank’s urban, resilience and land strategy. With a busy few months ahead of us, I’m happy to see the urban narrative being part of so many important global events, notably the World Bank Group and IMF’s Annual Meetings and the Climate Change COP-27. I look forward to working together to share our vast research to help shape urban landscapes across the globe by informing client countries’ investment in cities to deliver major impact for green, resilient, and inclusive growth."

Bernice Van Bronkhorst
Global Director for Urban, Resilience and Land Global Practice (GPURL)
