Welcome to Kay Michael Lee Studio!
Hi KML Family!
Welcome to the Fall 2022 Session at Kay Michael Lee Studio! We are truly excited you have decided to join us for our 11th Anniversary Season. For those of you who are newer to the studio, know that you are now a member of the KML Family. If there's ever anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.
Dance apparel (shoes, tights, leotards, skirts, earrings and more) can be purchased through the studio (limited selection) and also through Discount Dance Supply! We also carry a variety of KML Studio apparel - t-shirts, tank tops, sweatpants, sweatshirts, shorts, socks, and much more for infants to adults! Our inventory can be viewed on our mobile app or the website.
We hope you have a great week and look forward to seeing you in the studio.
Acro will now be offered in our 3-4 year old and 5-6 year old classes! These classes will now include ballet, tap, and acro to start our dancers on a solid foundation for their futures in dance! This is a great learning opportunity, as we are the only studio certified in Acrobatic Arts in Western ND!
Share your love for KML through our Referral Program!
The KML Referral card is our way of saying thank you to our KML family for being with us! The Referral card applies to not only our current KML family, but the new KML family members! Each family will receive a $50.00 credit onto their tuition for that respective session. The credit will be applied after receiving the final payment from the new KML family. Meet our new teachers: Miss Renae & Miss Kiara!
We are so excited to announce that we have two new teachers joining our staff this year - they may look familiar to you, as they are both alumni from our studio!
Meet Renae Evenson (Class of 2016) and Kiara Bartlette (Class of 2018)! Renae will be teaching Ballet III/IV and Lyrical/Jazz II/III and Kiara will be teaching Contemporary this fall. Learn more about them and the rest of our staff.
Dancers are placed into one of three lines (Diamond, Emerald, Ruby) based on results from their audition. The Precious Gems is a competition line gives younger beginner dancers a chance to compete and perform with a lower commitment level compared to our other competition lines. The Precious Gems go through an “audition” process on the first day of class, but everyone is accepted onto this line.
The dancers will engage in various community events & performances, in addition with competing in competitions & conventions. These competition dancers perform a variety of genres to build up their repertoire, technique, and performance abilities.
Congratulations and Good Luck this Year! "Be a Mermaid and Make Waves" - theme for 2022-2023 Competition Season
