Our Celebration of the International Year of Glass Continues with the Glass-inspired Of breath and fire
After Fringe, we're on to our fascinating Of Breath and Fire residencies at Crane, Eastman School of Music, and Fredonia. We premiere Amy Nam’s work Of Breath and Fire for fivebyfive and electric harp--with Amy as guest artist--supported by a Chamber Music America Commissioning Grant. A new video by glass artist Madeline Rile Smith accompanies the work as we perform.
Other repertoire features music by Edie Hill, Anthony R. Green, Kari Telstad Sundet, Brittany Green, Missy Mazzoli, and Patrick Burke.
