What do you think?

<<First Name>>, we could be literally facing an existential threat, if we keep on our present trajectory with the human induced collapse of biodiversity and climate change. Actually, in the long-term the planet is more than likely to be fine. The real risk is that our human civilisations run the risk of a major crash if we don’t change course and do so as quickly as possible.

What’s your response to this?

  1. WEG is talking alarmist doom and gloom nonsense and everything will be fine.

  2. WEG is right, but there’s nothing we can do about it. Sadly we face a cataclysmic future.

  3. WEG is right, but little old me can’t make a difference. I just don’t have it in me to rise up and make the changes necessary for us to flourish.

  4. WEG is right, but it’s someone else’s responsibility to sort it out.

  5. WEG is right, but times are tough and I am doing my best to get through each day.

  6. WEG is right, but I can’t be bothered to do anything about it.

  7. The Earth will be better off without us. Bring it on!

  8. I’m not sure if my contribution can make a difference, but I’d rather have a go and fail than not try at all.

  9. I feel overwhelmed by the challenges we face.

  10. WEG is right and I owe it to future generations to make saving future generations my number one priority. We can do this together!

Personally, I am mostly number 10. Actually, I think we humans are an incredibly adaptable species. We are capable of solving the climate and biodiversity emergences we are facing. But where do we start? I think we need to start right where we live and start now. And what can we do? If you live in Worcestershire you can join WEG in turning Worcester and environs into a beacon for other parts of the U.K. We have a hard core of amazing volunteers who are achieving some really impressive results. But we need more of you to step forward to help. Even if it’s one hour a week or even once a month. Here are some opportunities for you to help us to thrive on a flourishing planet. Please please please step forward.
