Dear <<First Name>>,

Please join me Wednesday, September 21st from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET for a webinar hosted by Environment America. Register below to hear the latest trends, research and state advocacy to help America harness its abundant renewable energy potential.

RSVP for the “Uniting States for 100% Renewable Energy” webinar

On the webinar, Environment America Research & Policy Center and Frontier Group will unveil a new tool that shows how key clean energy technologies are growing in the states. Stanford Professor Mark Z. Jacobson will explain the latest research on America's renewable energy potential. And state leaders and advocates will share the secret to their success in winning progress and what's next on the road to 100% renewable energy.
I am excited to hear from the following speakers:

Mark Z. Jacobson is the Director of the Atmosphere/Energy Program and Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. He focuses on better understanding air pollution and global warming problems and developing large-scale clean, renewable energy solutions to them. His work is the scientific basis of the energy portion of the U.S. Green New Deal and laws to go to 100% renewable energy in cities, states and countries worldwide.

Adam Schultz is the leader for the Electricity & Markets Policy Group at the Oregon Department of Energy. He leads a four-person team working on electricity policy issues in the state. His portfolio covers a wide range of topics, including regional electricity planning, energy markets, and resource adequacy.

Johanna Neumann, as the Senior Director of the Campaign for 100% Renewable Energy, Environment America directs strategy and staff for Environment America's energy campaigns at the local, state and national level.

Ben Hellerstein is the State Director of Environment Massachusetts. Ben directs Environment Massachusetts' efforts to promote clean air, clean water, clean energy and open spaces in MA. In 2016, he launched a campaign to repower MA with 100 percent renewable energy.

Laura Deehan is the State Director of Environment California. Laura directs Environment California's work to tackle global warming, protect the ocean, and stand up for clean air, clean water and open spaces. Most recently, she directed the public health program for CALPIRG, another organization in The Public Interest Network, where she led campaigns to get lead out of school drinking water and toxic chemicals out of cosmetics.

Luke Metzger is the Executive Director of Environment Texas. Luke has led successful campaigns to win permanent protection for the Christmas Mountains of Big Bend; to compel Exxon, Shell and Chevron Phillips to cut air pollution at three Texas refineries and chemical plants; and to boost funding for water conservation and state parks. The San Antonio Current has called Luke "one of the most energetic and dedicated defenders of environmental issues in the state."

Tony Dutzik is the Associate Director and Senior Policy Analyst of Frontier Group. Tony's research and ideas on climate, energy and transportation policy have helped shape public policy debates across the U.S., and have earned coverage in media outlets from the New York Times to National Public Radio.
I hope you'll join us for "Uniting States for 100% Renewable Energy" on Sept. 21 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET.

Sincerely,

Leslie Samuelrich
