This year, we have had more rain than usual because of some tropical storms. Some days, we wonder if we should start to build an ark! Especially the girls at the Mae Taeng Children’s Home feel this way. Yesterday, we received the pictures that you see here.
The girls’ dorm was the second building built on the campus around 30 years ago. Today, it still has the original roof! With all the rain we have been receiving this season. The old roof has begun to fail. Rain is coming into the top floor rooms, making them unusable.
Thanks to your help, we have been able to repair and remodel many of the buildings and systems on the MaeTaeng Campus over the last five years. The classroom and dorm for the college students have been completely overhauled, the Church and District Office has a new roof, and thanks to several Work and Witness teams, many of the buildings and rooms have fresh paint.
Now, it’s time to turn our attention to this immediate need. Would you please help us put a new roof on the girl’s dorm? This is a significant renovation project that is estimated to cost around $12,000 to complete. If we all work together, we can make this happen!
