Teachers can choose among concurrent hands-on workshops, field investigations, community science projects and eco-engineering challenges to hone their ability to engage students in nature-based learning. Earn Nationally-accredited Certificate in Environmental Education

Start your journey to become a certified environmental educator on October 1 with the new hybrid program, combining in-person workshops and online learning. Saves money and time! Lunch provided.

Hybrid courses are less expensive and require fewer days away from home. The Core Course 1 workshop is just $70 as a Conference add-on ($100 separately)

In addition to this workshop, a candidate for certification must complete the online component of Core Course 1, two other Core Courses, 30 hours of professional learning credits, and an independent project. DEADLINE to register: 9/23.

Monarchs Across Georgia Educator Workshop

Learn how to teach students about monarch butterflies through hands-on activities with live caterpillars and butterflies; community science projects such as Symbolic Migration, Monarch Health, and Monarch Tagging; as well as design and creation of pollinator habitats in the schoolyard.

The all-day Saturday Oct 1 workshop is discounted to $50 as a Conference add-on ($100 separately) including lunch, supplies, and curriculum book. DEADLINE 9/17
