Working Well Workshop

Find out what you can do to protect your well by attending our free online workshop on November 8th, 2022! This workshop is in collaboration with the Working Well Program, with technical expertise provided by Alberta Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Economic Development, Alberta Environment and Parks, Alberta Health Services and licensed water well drillers.

AWC Activity Updates

The first few days of September, our watershed science coordinator Sarah McDonald headed to Pincher Creek to refresh her knowledge of CABIN sampling procedures.

On September 6th, Sarah and Ashley drove to Sangudo to meet with board member Kennedy Deregt-Taschuk to discuss putting up educational signs at West Central Forage Association's field of agricultural research plots.

On September 15th, the AWC hosted a hybrid board meeting, with the option for board members to join us in the AWC office in Athabasca, or via zoom.

On September 28th and 29th, two staff members and three board members attended the ALMS conference in St. Albert.
