"366 Days of Beauty in the Year 2020" has arrived!

Thank you so much for your patience over the last several months. We have been frustrated with the delay of the books, but we are happy to announce they have arrived! Those who preordered the book and paid for shipping should have received or will be receiving them very quickly. Those who preordered a book for pickup in our Ludington Gallery, those books are ready.

We have less than 100 copies left if you didn't have a chance to preorder a book. The retail price of the book is now $80. It is available on our website, over the phone at 231-843-0777, and in our downtown Ludington and Pentwater galleries.

ArtPrize 2022 starts this week!

We bring you “Point-to-Point Visions”! This piece was created using lenticular printing. This is very similar to a holograph. As you walk past the piece, it will change from one image to the next.

We wanted to create something unique for ArtPrize this year, to incorporate one of each of our images into a single piece. We call the area between Big Sable Point Lighthouse and Little Sable Point Lighthouse “Point to Point”.

The Point-to-Point area speaks deeply to our hearts. It made sense for us to choose three of our favorite lighthouses in this region to create this unique piece.

This custom framed piece retails for $5,800. It is roughly 35 inches tall by 51 inches wide. It has a beautiful custom black frame that Rob Randle at Timeless Picture Framing constructed for us. If you are interested in purchasing this piece, please call the gallery at 231-843-0777.

VOTING CHANGE

There will be NO voting numbers this year at ArtPrize, rather you will "favorite" art pieces. Per a news article by WoodTV.com:

This year, a new online interactive map will allow users to find art, venues, and “favorite” art pieces, which will help decide how the prize money is awarded. Online map users can vote for their favorite artists and work. ArtPrize will then track the top five favorites in each district, the largest increase in favorites in one day, which piece has been favorited the most in each category, and the artist with the most favorites even before ArtPrize starts.

This is our artist profile on the ArtPrize website. Due to a glitch in the system, it listed only Brad as the artist. The star is what you will click on to FAVORITE our piece. When searching for us, please search House of Wine, and our entry will show up, or search REED, and it will show up. We are working to show all three artists' names.
