Raising Canada 2022: Register Now, Oct. 6

A Special Invitation to Raising Canada 2022

On October 6 at 12 p.m. ET, Children First Canada (CFC) is pleased to host Raising Canada 2022: When Kids Thrive, Canada Thrives, an interactive digital event to highlight this year's top 10 threats to childhood in Canada and the findings of our Raising Canada 2022 report.

The event will also explore how investing in the health of children is critical to building a more equitable and prosperous society. Experts will discuss how the pandemic and the top 10 threats to childhood have had a disproportionate effect on equity-deserving young people – and the urgent need for action.

Every child deserves to survive and thrive.

CFC's Raising Canada 2022 report paints a startling picture of what it’s like to be a child in Canada today. From coast to coast to coast, many children do not make it to their 18th birthday: The infant mortality rate in Canada is higher than in most wealthy countries, and suicide is a leading cause of death for children and youth. These devastating statistics are too alarming to be ignored.

Don't miss your chance to join the conversation!

Date: Thursday, October 6
Time: 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. ET
