Let's enjoy a special gathering together in the company of friends and family, living, sharing and celebrating Latino culture. This event is to bring us closer as a community and express ourselves freely in an environment of healthy fun, remembering that we are not alone and that we are always “better together”. Mountain Biking Trail-Building—Alpine Slide

Trail Building Volunteer eventJoin us for one or all of our final three volunteer opportunities to complete Glenwood's newest mountain biking trail in South Canyon. Register here. The Alpine Slide Downhill Flow/Jump Trail utilizes a sinuous early 1980s alpine slide attraction's excavation as a platform for a feature-filled descending-only bike trial. Features will include broad, fast sweeping berms, rollers, drainage structures, and skill-building jumps.

Health Fair

365 Health logoThe Glenwood Springs Community Center is hosting a community-wide 365HealthFair (formerly 9HealthFair) on September 24th from 8:00am-noon. Blood draw, health screenings, educational booths and wellness zones available. More info here. Free Fitness Classes that day will include: 9:30am–10:00am T’ai Chi, 10:15am–11:15am Yoga, 11:15am–12:00pm Zumba

FREE Family Movie Night

Hocus Pocus movie logoJoin us for our FREE Fall Family Movie Night at the Community Center on the front lawn. Kick off the Halloween season with us on Saturday, October 1st  and come watch Hocus Pocus beginning at 7pm.  The event will start at 6pm with crafts, a raffle of prizes, and more. Concessions will be available for purchase. Bring a blanket or two, friends and family, and get cozy!

 

Community Center Maintenance Re-opening 

Community Center reopening graphicThe Community Center was closed August 21st through Sept 5th for annual upkeep and maintenance. Projects included re-plastering our lap pool, cleaning and repairing our climbing wall, cleaning and organizing storage areas, repurposing and installing cabinets for Jr. Rec, repairing, drywall, and painting the Community Rooms, repurposing and installing windscreens around the Ice Rink, converting LED lighting in the parking lot, and a deep clean of the entire facility.
 

Coed Adult Leagues

Thursday evenings, October 6 through December 15. Matches will take place at the Community Center gymnasium using modified World Dodgeball Federation rules.  Register here

Adult Coed Volleyball

October 5 through December 14. Coed 6v6 and coed 4v4. All matches will be played at the Community Center gymnasium on Monday or Wednesday night.  Register here.
