          The Fishing is ON FIRE!

So on Saturday, due to a charter cancelling, I found myself with nothing to do so I went to "King Richards Faire" in Carver. A good time for sure! The picture above is actor "Ses Carny" who is a fire eater and performer at the fair. The shows by all the "carny's" were pretty good and aside from the price of admission the performers asked for tips. Money and time well spent!

Yesterday I thought I had John L and his son Collin with the trip for Collin's 14th birthday. Instead, after Collin and  his friend "Will" get aboard, John says "see ya later"! I immediately started convulsing because of either abandonment issues of my own or because I am afraid of kids... In any case, Collin and Will left the dock at 7am and by 724am I was sending out a picture of their slot striper limit and it was time to go tog fishing.

I was headed for "spot #79" when about 150 yards ahead of it I marked a huge boulder that I never fished before (nobody probably ever has). I also marked a few nice fish on top of said boulder so I parked right on top of it with Little Sister's "spot lock gizmo" and it was game on! The first tog to come up was good for the state contest at close to double digits for a 13 year old. Congratulations Will!

After they had their tog limits they wanted to go back and play with more bass so we did, ending up with several more slot fish which were safely released.
Today was almost a carbon copy of yesterday with the striper limit falling into the boat quickly for "Ben and Krew". Then it was one stop shopping (limit on the first stop) for the tog limit by 9am, then we cast at some albi's that were very boat shy (we did not get any of them to bite).

So as it turns out, I have an open spot for the combo (4am) and/or for the 7am trip this Thursday (09/15). There are still a couple of spots left for Saturday, 09/17 (6am-noon at $175/person).
Two spots are available for 09/20 (6-11am at $150/person).
09/22 is full,
09/24 (6am-noon. $175) has one spot available
09/29 7am-noon - $150/person has three spots available and that is all for September.

Please be sure to include your name and phone # when scheduling.

Thank you!
