Apple may have dropped the “mini” from its latest iPhone line-up, but there is a case to reposition the model as a new SE. With diminishing demand for handsets in the country and Chinese OEMs seeking to diversify their production sites, the proportion of Chinese production is also expected to decline in the future, explains Minsoo Kang.
